Application / Participation

The WE-Heraeus Seminar will host about 75 people, so interested scientists are heartily welcome to participate. Full accommodation and meals for all participants will be provided free of charge, thanks to the generous funding by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation and no conference fee will be charged. Travel costs for participants will not be covered. Each participant is expected to present a poster.

The seminar is intended to foster the communication between established and young researchers. Therefore, we particularly encourage PhD students and young post-docs to apply for the 590th WE-Heraeus-Seminar and to present their research at one of the three poster sessions. In addition 6 poster contributions of each poster session will be introduced in 4-min. poster flash presentations. The organizers will select poster flash presenters based on the quality of the submitted abstracts. Prizes for the best posters presented at the seminar will be awarded.
